About

Set in a small town in Southeastern New Mexico, with the backdrop of a major storm brewing, CAROL fights with her ex, TODD, over who owns the vintage red jeep she bought him for his birthday. She claims it’s still hers, he retorts there are no take-backs on gifts. Other townsfolk, including Todd’s new lover, LANIE, the clientele of the local beauty shop, and the patrons of the Lonestar Café, all have an opinion – as well as minor dramas of their own. Drifting behind these goings-on, HUGH (70s) is losing his battle with dementia, and wants a way out. His son, local cop MITCH, isn’t ready to let go. As is the way with small towns, individuals find that the solutions to their problems come with building bridges, not fences – and if that fails, there’s always a climactic, cleansing storm.
